test pilot was formed in 2002 in cold Montreal jam space by three musicians who had the idea of creating a different sound with the instruments they love to play.  Though steeped in the traditions of jazz & funk, their vision was influenced by new forms of electronic rhythms and flavors. What resulted was a mutation of sounds that appeals to both schools; those who enjoy the live experience, seeing performing musicians cook it up and the members of the club/electronic beat scene.

After many live engagements including underground parties, university bashes and club dates, test pilot remains a new and exciting force in the Montreal music scene.
